Rural Assembly is a nonprofit venture that combines design services and building technology to provide housing solutions that improve the social and built fabric of underserved rural communities in America. We partner with local governments and farmworker advocacy organizations. The goal is to improve access to affordable and climate resilient housing that builds a sense of ownership through direct community involvement and good design.

The first pilot project will focus in Imookalee, Florida — this site serves as a microcosm highlighting larger issues of farmworker communities around the country.
